2026 Tallahassee AIDS Walk

Cascades Park

“Walk a mile in their shoes!” Big Bend Cares’ spring event, the Tallahassee AIDS Walk, draws hundreds of participants each year. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 9:00am at Cascades Park. We are celebrating the 36th Annual AIDS Walk this year, working alongside partner organizations Neighborhood Medical Center and Bond Community Health Center.
Individual community members, school and university groups, companies, and faith groups can register to walk as individuals or as part of a team today! Walkers are encouraged to also become fundraisers themselves and help us reach our goal. After a memorial walk around the Cascades Park Trail (walk loop TBD), we will gather to listen to speakers and music.
This event will be a celebration of all of those who have fought so hard to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. All proceeds help Big Bend Cares in providing direct-care services for our clients and HIV prevention and education for the entire Big Bend region.

Artopia 2026

Goodwood Museum & Gardens 1600 Miccosukee Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32308

Artopia is Tallahassee’s largest charity art auction!

This must-attend fundraising event benefits the Big Bend Cares’ Client Services Department.

Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Goodwood Museum & Gardens to bid on amazing artwork by some of the best local and regional artists. Artopia boasts over 500 pieces of art in the silent auction and 10-15 best-in-show pieces in the rousing Live Auction! The best part is you don’t need to be an art critic to enjoy this lively event. As a matter of fact, there’s just about something for everyone—beautiful art at a reasonable price—in just about every form you can think of.

Artopia is made possible because of the generous donations from artists and community members like YOU. All proceeds from the event stay in the Big Bend and provide food, transportation, housing, and health care to those in need – at no cost to them!
