Your Gift Matters
Every gift is meaningful, regardless of size and we thank you for supporting Big Bend Cares with your charitable contributions. Whether you would like to support our work today or benefit us after your lifetime, know that your donation is deeply appreciated. Listed below are some of the most popular charitable plans to consider. For each option, always seek advice from your financial or legal advisor and if you do include us in your plans, our federal tax ID is 59-2816580.
- Naming Gifts
A Naming Gift presents an opportunity to be openly recognized at Big Bend Cares’ medical facility – Care Point Health and Wellness Center. You may also use a Naming Gift to honor or pay tribute to a family member or friend. Naming privileges are limited, are reserved on a first come, first served basis and can be made through an outright gift or through a gift that is pledged over 2 years.
- Remember us in your will.
Structure your will to provide for your family first. Then, include a gift to the charitable organizations you love. Just a few simple sentences and a meeting with an estate planning attorney is all it takes.
- Make a gift and receive fixed payments for life.
If you’d like to support Big Bend Cares and receive steady payments for life, a charitable gift annuity may be right for you.
- Donate stocks.
If you give stocks you’ve owned for more than one year that are worth more than when you purchased them, you’ll qualify for significant tax advantages.
- Give retirement plan assets.
Consider making Big Bend Cares a beneficiary of a percentage of your retirement plan assets. Then, leave less heavily taxed assets to your loved ones.
- Arrange a charitable trust.
With a charitable remainder trust, you can receive income each year (either fixed or variable) from assets you place in the trust. After your lifetime, the balance in the trust goes to the charities of your choice.
- Use life insurance to make a gift.
There are several ways you can use life insurance to give back to Big Bend Cares. We can help you explore your options.
If you have questions or need additional information on any of these options, please contact Stephanie Schwartz, Chief Development Officer, at 850-354-8765 extension 109 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
