Care Point Health & Wellness, a leading provider of comprehensive, patient-centered care in the Big Bend region, is pleased to announce that Allison Moore, D.O., M.P.H., will join the organization as Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective March 30, 2026.
A Tallahassee native, Dr. Moore grew up in the community and graduated from high school locally, bringing a deep personal connection and understanding of the region Care Point serves.
Dr. Moore brings extensive clinical leadership and frontline care experience to Care Point. She currently serves as a hospitalist physician at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and holds multiple leadership roles across post-acute and skilled nursing settings, including Medical Director positions for regional rehabilitation centers.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Moore earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Largo Medical Center. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Moore has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence, care coordination, and medical education, having served as clinical faculty for both the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and Florida State University College of Medicine.
In her new role, Dr. Moore will oversee clinical strategy, provider leadership, and quality outcomes across Care Point’s integrated care model. She will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission to deliver accessible, high-quality care while strengthening clinical operations following a period of clinical transition.
