Do you roll your eyes when people in Florida complain about winter weather?
Yes! I lived in Florida for a year and Mom has for many years. I laugh every time she calls to tell me how cold it is and it’s literally freezing in Michigan.
What is your favorite color?
Blue.
What inspires you the most?
Color, nature, art. A nice long weekend camping is the perfect source of inspiration.
Tell us about your jewelry…
All of my work is hand forged in my backyard garage studio. I primarily work with copper and brass to artfully age the surface of the metal creating texture and bold colorful detail. The techniques I use are metalsmithing, patinas, enameling, precious metal clay, and anything else I can learn and apply. A feature of my work is creating an antiqued look with a modern approach.
