Why did you join the Board of Big Bend Cares?
There are so many reasons why I joined the board! First and foremost I wanted to make a true difference. I personally feel connected to the cause of BBC because it’s the lived experience of people that I love. As an activist and young professional I want to provide my perspective to this amazing organization and offer my service in any way I can.
Who inspires you?
I am blessed to be inspired by many amazing people in my life, but my mother is my biggest inspiration. Her dedication and drive to achieve all of her goals keeps me motivated. My mom continuously breaks down barriers and paves the way for others, especially women. I strive to demonstrate that passion in everything I do.
What is currently playing on your Ipod?
I am obsessed with Billy Joel right now. I saw him perform live on New Year’s Eve and I can honestly say it is the best concert I have ever been to!
Cats or Dogs?
Dogs! I just adopted an amazing boxer two weeks ago!
What do you love most about Artopia?
I am very excited for Artopia! If I had to pick what I love the most it would be the live auction. It is so much fun to watch everyone bid it out for an amazing cause!
